This interview with Los Alamos nuclear physicist Louis Rosen (1918-) includes discussions of the National Cancer Act of 1971, the development of the world's most powerful linear accelerator at the Los Alamos Meson Physics Facility (LAMPF) in 1972, and the establishment of the Cancer Research and Treatment Center (CRTC) at the University of New Mexico (1974). The interview was conducted by UNM student Cynthia Dean as part of a research project on cancer therapies in the U.S.
