Computer Imaging (Standardized Computer Imaging)

Through this service, HSLIC installs the HSC-approved Microsoft or Apple Operating System, patches and standard HSC software. The service is available for Windows-based and OS X-based standard computers that conform to the HSC Chancellor's Executive Order (dated April 29, 2010) and all HSC-owned devices that have a standard configuration.

The imaging process will be completed within two business days of receiving the computer at the HSLIC Service Point.

What We Do

We will install and configure the most current HSC-approved operating system and the most recent version of Microsoft Office, GroupWise, GroupWise Messenger, HSC VPN Client and printer drivers.

Why Do I Want It?

This standard configuration promotes productivity and security for the institution and provides a standard user interface for HSC computers.

What Do I Need?

Before scheduling an appointment, you must create a service request in Help.HSC, back up your data and back up your email archive, if applicable.

Appointment hours are M–F, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., excluding UNM holidays.
