Remote Access to Electronic Library Resources

UNM faculty, students and staff can access licensed electronic library resources (e-journals, databases, e-books, etc.) remotely from their homes, offices or labs.

Electronic resources are available 24/7 except during occasional outages for network maintenance.

What We Do

Our licensed electronic products are listed on the HSLIC website and/or in our library catalog so that you can find them easily and link to them remotely. The databases contain links to full-text options.

Resources that are formatted for mobile devices are marked with an iPhone icon.

Through this service, you will get 24/7 access to top-quality research resources conveniently through your personal computer without charge.

Who Is This For?

UNM faculty, staff and students holding a valid HSC or UNM NetID

How Do I Get It?

Our electronic resources are available on any full-powered laptop or desktop computer. In addition, many of these resources have a version formatted for mobile devices, accessible through HSLIC's mobile website or by clicking on the iPhone icon on the HSLIC list of databases.

Our electronic resources can be accessed most conveniently via the HSLIC home page at http://hslic.unm.edu/.

What Do I Need?

To access these resources remotely, you must have a valid HSC or UNM NetID and Internet access.

Service Hours

Electronic library resources are available 24/7. Support is available when the library is open.
